As the owner and main tutor of Horse Show Tutor, I feel it is important to understand the equestrian mindset, as well as the challenges that equestrians face when competing in horse show competitions. I know. I’ve been there.
The love I have for horses and the experience gained through my years competing on the “A” circuit, allows for a quicker, deeper, and more credible connection with my students.
At the end of the day, though, hire me as a tutor not because of my passion for horses but because of the education that your son or daughter will receive.

BALANCE of HORSES and HOMEWORK
- I fully cater to my students’ needs and ensure that balance of schoolwork and time in the saddle is achieved. I do whatever it takes to make sure a student succeeds, both in the classroom and the show ring. When I take on a student, I commit to helping for the entire duration of his or her’s academic career- with many of my students continuing to use me throughout college.
ACADEMIC LIFE LINE
- My students have coined me as an “academic life line,” as they know they can always count on me to help them regardless of their academic needs. Horse Show Tutor is not a mere agency that connects students with tutors, nor a large service with a revolving door of students year after year. The relationships that are formed during tutoring underscore the fact that my students are an integral part of my life.
ROLE MODEL and a PROFESSIONAL
- For many of my students I am more than a tutor; I also serve as a role model. My students know that I am a hard worker and see that I am an independent person who has built an honest business through dedication and determination.
- I am not a young tutor trying to offset my horse show expenses. I tutor as a sole profession and I am proud of the business I have built and the ethics behind it. I am a person with expertise and integrity whom each of my students can, and has, looked up to; all of which influences my students as they undertake their schoolwork, strive to always do better, and earn good grades on their own merit.
ACADEMIC MANAGER
- I personally work closely with your and each child’s school and teachers, facilitating schedules, assignments, exams, and other scholastic obligations. This important task is not delegated to another tutor or person.
- Regardless of the amount of hours a student is tutored each week, I am available to oversee all the communications with the school and teachers to help gain their cooperation, allowing for a more successful and less stressful tutoring experience for your child and also a better relationship with their teachers.
WE GET IT DONE!
- Whatever a student needs help with, I personally will make sure his/her academic needs are met.
- The advantage of a small tutoring service like Horse Show Tutor is that EVERY student is important. I do whatever it takes to accommodate each and every student.
